Tip Tuesday: Give Your Stationery Some Personality!

It's our favorite time of year! December is not only when we get to catch up with KSE newlyweds and alum via holiday cards, but it marks the start of "Invitation Season!" Starting now through summer, our mail carrier will be bringing a steady stream of Save The Dates, Shower Invitations, Wedding Invitations and all types of beautiful correspondence for beautiful and joyful events.

Invitations are really the first way that you will engage your guests in your wedding experience. They set the tone for your event (formal, romantic, casual, etc.) and are your first opportunity to communicate to your loved ones how you would like them to experience your nuptials.

Save the Dates should be sent 4-6 months in advance of your wedding date (can be longer if you have many guests traveling in from out of tow) and invitations are typically sent 8-10 weeks prior to the wedding.

So our tip for you today is to make sure you give your invitations some personality and some unique style. We are simply smitten with the travel themed invitations featured on Brides.com and we want to share them to hopefully inspire your own creative and awesome wedding stationery. Whether you're getting married across the world or in your own backyard, highlighting the location of your wedding venue is a fail-safe theme that you can carry throughout your event (serving local foods or produce, local wine, or featuring local artisans are great ways to pay homage to the place where you became a family).

Happy Planning! xx
